Recent Workouts

Here are the workouts I’ve done each day for Saturday, June 15th through yesterday. Enjoy!

Saturday-

  • z3 Sprint Triathlon (600m swim, 14ish mi bike, 2 mi run.)
  • 30 minutes Pilates stretching.

Sunday-

  • 75 minutes Power Yoga (this video.)
  • Bike to and from Mullets for lunch.
  • 1 hour yoga class at the Healthy Living Center.

Monday-

  • Bike to and from cross country practice.
  • Cross country practice: 30 minute run.
  • 10 minute post-run stretch.
  • Bike to and from Central Campus.
  • 1 hour 40 minutes Pilates toning.
  • z3 practice: bike, run, stretch.

Tuesday-

  • Bike to and from cross country practice.
  • Cross country practice: 3.6 mile run.
  • 9 minute post-run stretch (this video.)
  • Bike to and from Central Campus.
  • Bike to and from Ashworth pool.
  • Lap swim 30 minutes.
  • 10 minutes post-swim stretch (this video.)
  • 1 hour power yoga.

Wednesday-

  • Bike to and from cross country practice.
  • Cross country practice: warmup and cooldown, 2×1 mile tempo.
  • 9 minute post-run stretch.
  • 1 hour 32 minutes Pilates toning.
  • Bike to and from Central Campus.
  • z3 practice: transitions, 2 mile run, bike skills, swim and beach run.
  • 10 minutes Pilates stretching.

Thursday-

  • Bike to and from cross country practice.
  • Cross country practice: 3.5 mile run.
  • 9 minute post-run stretch.
  • Bike to and from Central Campus.
  • Bike to and from Capital Square.
  • Bike to and from Iowa Hall of Pride.

Friday-

  • Bike to and from cross country practice.
  • Cross country practice: 5.5 mile run.
  • 9 minute post-run stretch.
  • Bike to and from Des Moines Lululemon Showroom.
  • 45 minutes yoga at Lululemon.
  • 11 minute post-bike stretch (this video.)
  • Bike to and from Ashworth Pool.
  • Lap swim.
  • 10 minute post-swim stretch.

Saturday-

  • 1 hour strength and cardio circuit class at Lululemon Showroom.
  • Open water swim.
  • Bike to and from Drake Stadium (to watch the U.S. Track and Field Championships!!)

Sunday-

Monday-

  • Bike to and from cross country practice.
  • Cross country practice: 3.5 mile run.
  • 10 minute post-run stretch (this video.)
  • Bike to and from Ashworth Pool.
  • Lap swim (600m warmup, 6×100, 2×150 – all freestyle!)
  • 10 minute post-swim stretch.
  • z3 practice: bike, run, stretch.

Tuesday-

  • Bike to and from cross country practice.
  • Cross country practice: 3.6 mile run.
  • 9 minute post-run stretch (this video.)
  • 4 mile walk with dog.
  • Strength and Cardio Circuit (that I made up!)
  • Walk to and from Walgreens.
  • 50 minutes yoga.

Wednesday-

  • Bike to and from cross country practice.
  • Cross country practice: warmup, cooldown, 2×1 mile tempo.
  • 25 minute post-run stretch (this video.)
  • 1 hour 30 minute/ 25 mile bike ride.
  • 30 minutes post-bike stretch.
